(Part 5) The Last Time We...

The Last Time You Were in My Dream

It wasn’t anything romantic.

We were simply…there. Chatting. Laughing. Like we hadn’t missed a beat.

You wanted to know about my life, and I was curious about yours. In that dream, everything felt natural. Nothing was awkward. Nothing felt lost.

When I woke up, the details of our conversation slipped away. But the feeling? That lingered: so effortless.

And that sensation stuck with me longer than most real conversations ever do.

The Last Time I Let You Go

This moment wasn’t filled with drama. No tears. No background music.

Just a slow letting go. A soft sigh.

Not because I stopped caring.

But because some people leave impressions, not wounds. Because some stories are beautiful, even if they don’t wrap up the way you wished.

The last time I let you go wasn’t just a moment.

It was a decision.

And honestly, it felt like finding peace.

Author’s Note

This series is a blend of emotions—some lived, some imagined, and some stretched beyond reality. Call it nostalgia. Call it healing. Or maybe just a love letter to what could have been.

Regardless, it’s mine. And now, perhaps, it’s a little bit yours too.
